Let me take a moment to introduce myself since I am terrible at those sorts of things. My name is Rey and I am the author of Legion of Fire, a dark fantasy novel based in a world of gods and kings. A bit about me, I live in Oklahoma. I have lived in 16 states and traveled through 46. I grew up on the beach in Florida, but I spend much of my beach time these days in Mexico. I love mountains and caves. It is something I grew addicted to when my family and I moved to Arkansas when I was a pre-teen. I used to run off and find myself in really cool caverns and exploring the forests, finding graveyards from the early 1900s that were lost long ago. 👻 My parents' house is haunted and you can't tell me anything different. Hi there! My name is Grace R. Reynolds, and I like to write dark fiction and poetry for readers less familiar with my work. Besides, it is my name; it also represents my desire to express complex emotions through writing. Writing has always been an act of catharsis for me, and I will continue to "spill" my thoughts as long as need be. So what's new in my world? There are a few things on the horizon down here in the state where "everything is bigger." April 30 - May 1, 2022: I am attending the Ghoulish Book Festival in downtown San Antonio! I'm excited to see some horror authors I admire, such as special guests Cynthia Pelayo and Laurel Hightower, shop for books, and listen to panels and live readings. I'm also looking forward to connecting with the horror community in person! May 21, 2022: Fellow Curious Corvid, Stephanie Kemler, will be attending and representing the publishing house at Market of the Macabre at the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA. June 28, 2022: I'm excited to share that my short sapphic horror story TRIPPING TARTARUS has found a home in an anthology with Dark Pine Publishing. SECRET NEWS 2022: I recently had another short story acceptance, which I am anxiously waiting to share with you what that is! Other than that... what else is happening on my end? I have two long fiction WIPs in progress, the first being my second poetry collection and the second being a paranormal thriller novella. Finally, I am working on a short story for Curious Corvid Publishing and am looking forward to what my peers and readers think of it. That's it for now! Did I do this right, Corvids?
