Why do you write?
“To be honest, I started writing for selfish reasons. I write because it heals me. But I certainly hope that in the process of producing poetry, I am touching and influencing my readers in a positive way. I love forming those connections with other writers when we relate to each other's words.
These days, other poets are my biggest inspiration for writing. I am constantly in awe of their talents, their magical way with words, their ability to strike something deep inside of me. This community is phenomenal.”
